Can people from Łódź dance? You can discover this during the V International Festival of Youth Creativity Folk Inspiration. How? Nothing easier, all to do is taking part in the common play during various festival activities.
As a year before, we start 21.07 by a colorful, international pageant composed by festival participants from 10 countries, Trambus and You dear people from Łódź. The march accompanied by the sound of brass Orchestra ZHP-OSP from Uniejów will be started from Schiller’s Passage and will be finished at the Liberty Square.
In the evening on the current day, we will be visiting Manufactory Market with light-dance spectacle performed by artists from Georgia, Poland and Ukraine. The event is titled Inspiration from tradition to contemporariness. The aim of this event is to encourage to contemplation that folk is not only tradition but also fun and useful inspiration to use in the modern projects. It is worth to add that luminaire will be cared by SYZAN, known from Light Move Festival in Łódź.
All who like spending time actively are invited to “Folk stops” in revitalized places of Łódź: Manufacture(21.07), The White Factory (22.07), Priests Mill (23.07) and Piotrkowska Street (24.07), where guests from different countries are going to invite You to join them in common play and dance, as a part of the event “The whole Łodź is dancing folk”.
