The organizers of the International Festival of Youth Creativity “Folk Inspirations” are trying to implement new ideas from one edition to the next one.
Although the idea of the festival remains the same, the interest of especially young people in modern creation of all fields of art, which are based on the richness of different nations and ethnic groups in the world, a design festival and musical setting of every edition surprises us with a new form.
“Zbudujemy dom” by a band Enej is the song of the festival “Folk Inspirations”. Its words ideally fits the idea of the festival and, moreover, they reflect the amazing atmosphere, because regardless of a country, religion, age, national origin all participants of the festival are always becoming one big family performing and playing with one another under “international folk roof”. It’s amazing how the participants treat one another with respect and in spite of some sort of rivalry, they mutual support others in the struggle of competition for the “Golden Boat”. Today, three participants of music classes in the Youth Palace in Lodz faced the challenge of recording the festival song in the recording studio Centre No. 1 in Lodz. Despite many attempts and repetition, humor and enthusiasm didn’t go away and it is obvious that their performance of the song “We’ll build a house” will have a positive impression on the audience. Thanks to an envoy, this year’s festival song brings optimism. The barriers, prejudices, as well as adversity that accompany us are not important. We can change a lot!
Let’s be optimistic and have the fifth edition of the festival “Folk Inspirations” as successful as the previous ones.
