The contest “ZŁOTA ŁÓDKA” has aroused great interest since its inception. From 2011 it has been attended by a bunch of young artists from 16 countries of Europe and the world: Armenia, Belarus, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Latvia, Moldova, Palestine, Russia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Hungary, Tunisia, Ukraine and 5 Polish regions: the Łódź province, the Silesia province, the Lower Silesia province, the Kujawy-Pomerania province and the Warmia-Masuria province. The contest “ZŁOTA ŁÓDKA” is an inseparable part of the international Festival of Youth Creativity “Folk Inspirations”. The contest encourages young artists to cull inspiration from the folk culture of their country. It shows that folk may be trendy and combining tradition with modernity can create amazing projects and presentations.
The great value of the competition is that it is targeted at young artists, both amateurs and professionals, full of passion and imagination of artists and designers who are able to understand the latest trends and needs of the environment and know how to use these insights. Because of the fact that the design is more and more popular among young people the contest has proposed categories like art, photography, music and design for 2 years. This year the competition is signed up by numerous international groups of artists who will present their works and artistic skills during festival events.It is really worth to take part in the event and admire creativity of artists

2.07 – for private view of the laureate works of the competition “Photo”, which will take place in the Textile Museum Centre The White Fabric. Moreover, we invite to visit the opening exhibition of the laureates of the competition “Design”, stock exchange of young designers, and encounter in Art Incubator with invited guests from Podlasie and Greece.
23.07 – on audition of the “Golden Boat” competition, in categories: song and dance. What is more, the gale of Folk-Photo-Design competition includes Folk Fashion Show in Academy of Fine Arts of the name of W.Strzemieńskiego.
25.07 –on ‘Let’s Build a Home’ Gala Concert of the 5th International Festival of Youth Creativity FOLK INSPIRATIONS featuring2015 Golden Boat Vocal and Dance Contests winners. Verdict of the jury and the awards ceremony. Wytwórnia Club

The more editions, the more participants from new countries and new Polish regions. Still, it is not too late yet to take part in this folk project.
